Health News

Here at Hashimoto's Healing we spend a lot of time reading research and health news and figuring out how this information may impact people with Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism.

This is important because many of the systems of the body can be impacted by Hashimoto's and you have to take that into consideration when you think about trying some new medication or supplement(s).

A perfect example of this is herbs that stimulate the immune system. While they are generally recommended for increasing immune function or protecting you from colds or flus, they can be a really bad idea idea if you have autoimmunity.

And the reason is simple, they can stimulate the part of the immune system that is attacking your thyroid. This is just one example, in this section we cover topics like these.
